If you have a question regarding ASTRID2 or there is a problem please contact one of the operators. On weekdays there is typically an operator at the Institute until ~17:00, after this time there is no one officially on duty, but you can try to contact one of the operators.

Making phone calls
There is very limited mobile service in the basement, but good wi-fi coverage throughout. Therefore, before you visit it is a good idea to activate wi-fi calling on your mobile, if you have this possibility.
If this is not possible, there are three internet-based fixed phones placed in the basement close to the beamlines for ASTRID2. They are indicated on the ASTRID2 safety figure with a blue icon and are found:

There are currently no telephones in or near the Planetary Environment Facility.
Wi-Fi and Computers
The university, including all basement areas of the department, has good Wi-Fi coverage, with the international Wi-Fi internet access roaming service Eduroam available, as well as a guest network for those without Eduroam.

Keep our computers safe
The local computers that you work on at Aarhus University are ONLY intended for carrying out experiments and should not be used for personal browsing or entertainment.
- Do not connect your own USB sticks or hard drives to the local computers. Should you need to remove data from the computers, your local contact will arrange this.
- Do not download any form of software from the internet for installation on the computer and never click on a pop-up window to approve the installation or update of software.
