Surface and Materials Science research at ASTRID2 is carried out on the:

• AU-SGM3 beam line with synchrotron light from ASTRID2 used for research carried out by the local ARPES group headed up by Philip Hofmann..
• AU-MatLine beam line.
• SGM4 beam line, dedicated to nano- and micro-focussed Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (nanoARPES and microARPES) experiments.
