Research interests
The primary topic of research is the mechanism of cell death and cell repair for
biological pathogens in oxidative aqueous environments. Historically the
research has centred on photobiology and in particular solar and photocatalytic
inactivation of waterborne pathogens for use in developing countries. More
recently our attention has turned to the effects of radiation products on living
cells.
