ISA meeting
Week 29, July 17, 2001.
Status of the ring: The setup for electron run 2/2001 is proceeding as planned. We had the first beam injected and accelerated last week, and last
Friday, we had 175 mA injected in the ring! This week, we continue to optimise the ring, and will primarily do that in the morning, such that there will
be beam for users during the afternoon and evening. Please check our status page for announcements.
The schedule for the run has also been published on the web.
Our heat exchangers will be cleaned next Monday (23/7), so there will not be a beam that day. There may be a beam during the evening.
ELISA is now running He- and Be- for lifetime studies. During the summer holidays, users have been running many different ions, positive and
negative, without problems..
ISA Newsletter 8 has been published. You can get a paper copy in our 'breakfast room' on the third floor, or in the user room next to the control
