Console List View
This information applies to Console version 1.0.33.89.
Console List View:
The list view format is the standard parameter display build from the database console page settings, as shown below.
The ConsolePage table includes a list of parameters to be displayed in the view, param0 - param29. The parameters in the view are specified by their name and optional their surname. If no surname is specified, all displayable parameters with the given name will be included. A parameter frame window is created for each group of parameters with the same name. An item with all information needed to display the parameter is associated to each parameter in the frame windows. These items is initialized from the database dependent on their data type and interpretation. The items also include all the code needed to interact with the control system - including storage of the last received value. When the page is created the items are used to generate a set item_Views - each capable of displaying its associated parameter.
The parameter name and the description string obtained from the parameter description table are displayed at the top of the parameter frame window. The rest of the frame window is split in to two rows, the control (left) and the status (right) row. The item_Views are filled into the left and right row according to their position number in the parameter window.
The frame windows are ordered after the first appearances of a parameter name in the ConsolePage table.
Procedure for calculating console item positions within a parameter frame window:
In the following, 'position' refers to the database position number and 'position' to the vertical display position.
- If an adc or a dac with display options 'no surname display' has the lowest position, it is positioned next to the description string at the top right side of the window.
- If the first item is not an adc or dac, the current position is set to below the name/description items.
- As long as the position numbers increments by one from item to item, control items are filled on the left-hand side of the parameter frame window and status items on the right hand side of the frame window.
- If position increases by more than one the position of both rows are set to the maximum of the two rows, i.e. the item will be placed in a new line/position.
- Some items may need the full with of the frame window. These items will be positioned in the maximum position of the two rows.
Frame Headers
A frame header can be added above a frame window. Write the header text followed by ';C' at the wanted location in the ConsolePage parameter list.
Example:
Param7: Header text for Param8 frame;C
Param8: <Parameter Name>
Highlighting parameters
Selected parameters of special interest/importance can be highlighted in the list view. Highlighted control values appear with a bright yellow background and highlighted status values with a dark yellow background. Highlight is specified with the option ';H' after the parameter in the ConsolePage parameter list.
Example:
Param4:<Parameter Name>;H
Selection of multiple parameter SurNames belonging to the same ParameterName:
List of surNames to include:
Syntax:
<ParameterName>.<SurName>[.<SurName>][.<SurName>]
(Number of surnames only limited by selection string name)
ex:
IFA901IPStst.Iw.Ir.SumFail
Console position range:
<ParameterName> < <position> > <position>
ex:
IFA902IPStst>51<56
Console position less than:
<ParameterName> < <position>
ex:
VPS110CTRast2<3
Console position greather than:
<ParameterName> > <position>
ex:
VPS110CTRast2>1000
SQL condition:
<ParameterName>&<Any SQL condition on the viewRequestSet>
ex:
IFASUPCTRtst&a8 = 1
The (otherwise unused general attribute for this parameter) a8 used as selection filter, Parameters to include in the listview is marked by setting a8 to 8 in the database in the example above.
