Installation notes, ConSys version 23
IMPORTANT: Before installing this version of ConSys, any previous version must be uninstalled!
ConSys must be installed as a user with Administrative privileges.
Almost all configurations in this version is done by a new separate program, CsShortCutSetup. This program is run as a part of the installation process. You may also run this program at a later time.
Everyone/Just Me: As a part of the installation you must choose between 'Install for Everyone/Just Me'. ConSys will in both cases be installed for EveryOne - the only difference is addition of the shortcut to the setup program 'CsShortCutSetup'. Everyone will place a shortcut to CsShortCutSetup on all users desktops. 'Just Me' place a shortcut on the current user only. (default and recommended).
To uninstall ConSys, open 'Control Panel', Open 'Add or Remove Programs'. Find ConSys in the list and uninstall it.
Remark: When the old version of ConSys is installed most/all ConSys settings are removed from the system. During the setup of the new version of ConSys the settings must be set again. This is done as a part of the installation process. After installation, settings can be changed by running the CsSchortCutSetup program found in the ConSys install directory.
