Adjustment :
Test equipment : |
- A few large resistor
- Multimeter (Fluke 8840A)
- Voltage reference source
- Frequency counter (minimum resolution 0.1Hz)
|
Adjustment procedure : |
- Short the input BNC, and adjust T1 for zero counts in both the neg.
and pos. mode.
- Disconnect the short, and connect instead on input 1 the Test Set-up
(show) with at current in middle of the
dynamic area.
- Set mode pos. high range. Calculate the current Iin
and adjust then T6 to respectively output frequency.
- Set mode neg. high range. Calculate the current Iin
and adjust then T5 to respectively output frequency.
- Set mode pos. low range. Calculate the current Iin
and adjust then T2 to respectively output frequency.
- Set mode neg. low range. Calculate the current Iin
and adjust then T3 to respectively output frequency.

Test procedure |
- Make one measurement in each decade on input 1
- Make a few measurement on input 2-4 to be sure that they are working
right.
- Measure the temperature and output frequency. Rise the temperature
about 10°C and then again measure the temperature and output frequency.
Calculate then the temperature stability.
